Class Details

Classes will be held at Collin College, Spring Creek Campus north of Dallas. Students in Mamady Keita’s classes should all expect to play djembe. The teachers will have a support team of 3 or more dunun players to assist with class. If there are experienced dunun players who wish to specialize on duns, they may do so – but please no beginning dununs during these classes. Famoudou Konate usually prefers to teach djembe and dununs together so students of all experience levels should expect to play dununs at some point during the week.
