His Tam Tam Mandingue Schools have been established around the world and his dedication to teaching and advancing West African drumming is legendary..

He has dedicated his life to performing and preserving the music of West Africa, his creativity and his superlative teaching skills have elevated the djembe and expanded the study of West African music across the continent.
